Overall, life is making me happy. I'm working too much, not sleeping enough, getting a little sick and run-down ... but I'm really, generally content.

Work is good, though slightly insane. As much as I whine and complain, I really DO like Orientation ... and the Gap. Okay, I admit it. I'm still working there becuase I still like it.

In other news, I went to a party at Dan's house last night ... fun times for all. I was one of three girls, which always leads to interesting experiences. But I got lots of lovely back massages and flattering words from the boys ... which is always good for my self-esteem and over-inflates my ego for 4-6 hours. I also broke in the new bathing suit. And received compliments on my new jean jacket (which I got at Gap Kids. Hooray for being small enough for kids clothes).

I've been reading a lot this summer. About 8 books so far ... 4 of which are kids books (including the new Harry Potter, and The Giver in French - Le Passeur). It's really interesting to read a kids book in French ... I found the same thing when I read Harry Potter in French, actually. The language that is generally reserved for kids is translated in very interesting ways. French is so cute sometimes. I wish I hadn't forgotten all of it that I know ... and all the Russian I know. :)

I have cute stories later. Unfortunately, I've been neglecting my poor little violin ...
