02 May 2003 - 1:07 a.m. The following things make me laugh a lot: Since I am (very mildly) addicted to it, I was watching American Idol. Guess who the guest judge is. Neil frickin' Sedaka. As in, was on Showboat when I was Queen Neil Sedaka. As in the funny little man who seemed like a grandpa Neil Sedaka. I laughed so hard, I literally cried. Not only was I watching a tv show which is possibly one of the tremendously embarassing to begin with, I KNOW the guest judge. This shows how pathetic American Idol must be. I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but BU has approxiamately 3 square feet of grass. We call this "the BU Beach" because apparently if you close your eyes the traffic over the little hill (bump) sounds like wave ... then a siren goes off and your little illusion is shattered. Regardless, people think that when the temperature hits 45 it's a great idea to go out and play frisbee/football/baseball, sunbathe, or study here. So, every square inch of grass/bench is taken up by half-naked bodies who are throwing projectiles. Woohoo! Sounds like fun to me. Nothing better than getting smacked in the head by a frisbee thrown by some sketchy boy wearing no shirt who, upon realizing that you are in fact (like much of the school) female, decides that this entitles him to making some sort of really sketchy comment to you. The following comments from Alison are terribly worthwhile. - Regarding her text book. "There is a picture of two big ugly first graders with mullets. How am I supposed to read?" - Regarding Texas fashion. "So, when I was in 3rd grade I got a perm in just my bangs ... wait, in Texas ... " - Regarding Michael Jackson and naming babies. Me: "I swear, if you ever name your kid Sissy ... " Ali: "Or Prince or Blanket ..."
