31 March 2003 - 8:35 a.m.

So, I'm dumb, and I've managed to lose my cell phone. My mom's in town and somewhere between her hotel and my room my phone went missing. Hopefully, it is in her car. While I sit at work waiting for her to call, I'll tell you all the funny story related to my phone. After I got back from her hotel, I showered and put on my pajamas. Then, I decided I should plug my phone in to charge it. This was when I realized my phone was missing. I tried calling it to see if I could hear it ring (confining my search to my room). Of course, I couldn't. So, I decided that I'd have to go outside to see if it fell out of my coat pocket into the street when I got out of the car. Remember though, that I'd just gotten out of the shower. So, I had wet hair and pajamas on. When I got downstairs, I realized it was sleeting. So I ran back upstairs and grabbed my yellow rain coat. Here is the payoff visual for everyone: Little Melissa, standing in the middle of the street at midnight in a bright yellow raincoat and pajamas with wet hair as it sleets around her. In case anyone had any doubts about how un-cool I was ... I think this reaffirms the fact that I am sincerely not cool.

In other Mel news, I don't understand Semantics. At all. Ever. And I'm registered for next semester ... and I'm taking ... math. AHHHHHHHH!!!!
