I've decided I know why I am friends with mostly boys.

It is because they are not dumb.

Let me rephrase -- They are not AS dumb as girls. Usually.

I like to hang out with them because they talk about things I usually do not have strong feelings about. This means two things. First, I do not say stupid things that can offend people. Second, and more important, I can sit and think about other things and not have to contribute and mess up. I can just sit. And think about kitty cats or my new pink shirt ... or other girly things.

Next, I do not have to compete on the girly factor with anyone else. I can just be kind of girly. I do not have to pretend I am SUPER GIRLY GIRL R US. I can talk about hockey fairly intelligently and not feel like I should be talking about little girly things.

Anyhow. I love boys. And being friends with them. And having to wake up in 6 hours. I'm lying about the last part.
