I started out today SUPER poochy. Really extra super poochy. If I had been a superhero today my super-power would have been poochiness. Anyhow, I spent most of the day storming around being crabby and yelling. I was ALMOST crying about eighteen times. This was all for no particular reason. Maybe it was for too many reasons. I've been letting stupid, stupid little stuff pile up for ages. Then, I get upset and crabby for days. Anyhow, this is a happy story, in reality ... so, I'll start being happy. I went from PEN to Gap Kids ... and became super-giddy and happy. I worked Baby all night by myself. I had lots of time to think. I realized in the middle of my shift that I'm just really lucky. REALLY lucky. I have not one, but two jobs that I love. I have all of these marvelous friends whom I adore. My birthday's in a week (Yay for that ... ). I'm living in this great, marvelous, beautiful, grand apartment for free. What am I being poochy about? Nothing. Stupid little stuff. The fact that someone doesn't explicitly say "I want to spend your birthday with you." The fact that my shirt has a hole in it. The fact that I have to deal with stupid stuff more often than I'd like. The fact that I can't learn how to play my guitar (maybe because I'm too stubborn and impatient to actually practice a lot).

Anyhow. The moral of the story is that I decided that I wasn't going to be sad anymore. I had a great day at work. I have been laughing and smiling for the last 6 hours and I feel 87 times better than I did for the beginning of the day.

I went to Martha's Vineyard this weekend, which was amazing. I also went out for Julian's birthday. It was really great. We went to Fire & Ice. 'Twas much fun. Also, Carrie was in town. It was great to see her. She is so so so much happier and healthier. I've missed her a lot and I can't wait to have her back here.

Anyhow. Enough of my rantiness.
