18 April 2002 - 5:11 p.m.

I am allergic to everything. Everything. In the whole history of the Earth. Actually, I think it may be more accurate to say I am allergic to Outside. The recent warm weather (who remembers the last time it was 93 degrees in Boston in APRIL? Yesterday was bizarre ...) has caused everything on campus to bloom. Yay! It's pretty! It's green! It's Spring! And it makes me sneeze. Okay, so it makes me sneeze, which SHOULD be no big issue. It also makes my head feel like it's going to explode. I woke up this morning (sneezing) to realize it was ... 8:57 am. I have a class at 8. I slept through it. I am that cool. So, I call Jess, who is at the Union, and ask her to get me coffee. I get ready, run to the Union and hear a strange sound. It was the sound of lawnmowers. I DO NOT APPROVE. BU decides to cut all of the grass on campus at once. Today. When I am already Super Allergy Girl. This makes me want to cry. A lot. But I can't because my eyes are already watering so much from being so sneezy.

On a happier note ... I got an A on my French paper. Here is the story behind the French paper. It was supposed to be 4-5 pages. Mine was 3.5 ... far too short. I did not proofread it. At all. I typed it, and I handed it in. Because it was in French, I did not spell-check it. Today, I see people getting theirs back ... B-, C+ ... I was thinking, "I have FAILED this paper." But, I did not. So, I did a dance for joy instead.

Anyhow, I'm off for dinner. Stay tuned for an update about the opera (yay opera) and why today was Super Self-Esteem Day.
