I overslept today. I went to bed at 1:30 last night and woke up at 9:00 this morning. This would be fine ... except I had a class at 8. Normally, I would be pretty upset and storm about for a while because I couldn't believe I'd missed class. Since there is nothing I can do about it now, I have decided to be happy about it. Sleeping in is an especially good thing because I have not slept 7.5 hours ANY night this entire semester. I am actually feeling rested. It's fairly amazing. :) Also, sight singing is a pretty good class to sleep through.

Anyhow, because I am in such a happy mood, I have decided to go through another round of "I am thankful for."

I am thankful for Ellen ... I am thankful for her for lots of reasons. Today, I am thankful for her because we can talk without saying anything.

I am thankful for Christinia ... mostly because she's Super-Cool. Also, since Carrie is not here for me to whine to daily, I need someone I can whine to who won't think I'm a bitch.

I am thankful for Carrie ... because even though she is far away right now and I miss her tons and tons and tons, I know she is >still there for me.

I am thankful for Jess ... because she hasn't been scared of me since she transfered here.

I am thankful for the Wandering Minds kids ... because they're marvelous and very funny. They don't mind how crazy I am. They let me wear my crown (heehee), and Jess (this is Jess Stamp not to be confused with Jess Sherer (whose last name I just butchered) for whom I just said I was thankful) knew exactly what to do to make my semester a better one. :)

I am thankful for Slow Kids .... mostly because they don't hate me, even though most normal people would not like me so much. Also, because they've reminded me how to laugh ... a lot. Deuce gets special Bonus Thankfulness Points for introducing me to Christinia. Stretch and Bubbles get Extra Super Bonus Thankfulness Points for being girls

I am thankful for Kezzie, Maria and Aaron, and the following kids at work: Karoline, Erna, Elvadina, Beimenet, Joel, José, Brenda, Yolanda, Elisandra, Israa, Sajeda, and Kadejah .... because they make all the crummy stuff worthwhile

I am thankful for 8 hours of sleep, Music History being cancelled, linguistics, French, Starbucks Caramel Apple Cider, orchestra concerts, Stravinsky, Bach, Mozart, violin lessons, singing, little kids, and a million other things.
