So, they won. Congratulations to the Chesaning Union High School Indians. They are, once again, the reigning Class B State Champion Football team. As hideous a person as I may be about football, I am truly happy for them. Unfortunately, I shall have to spend the next two days explaining to everyone why I didn't go the game without sounding like I'm a hideous person who hates football.

On a happier, non-football note, I am watching The Simpsons. Hoorah for that!

I have been such a slacker so far this break. It's such a wonderful feeling to not do anything. I read some of my dad's old linguistics books this morning. I think I may write my term paper on an aspect of Historical Linguistics. I've got three really marvelous books on the topic, thanks to my oh-so-cool daddy. Then, I went shopping with mommy. Normally I hate sweaters. I try on pants that are a size bigger than I want to wear, and then feel huge in them. Today, however, I was buying sweaters! I own so many comfy sweaters ... it was really really not necessary for me to buy any more. I did buy two marvelous sweaters (a pink one and a lovely turqouise one) that make me feel really adorable. They're also very soft. Plus 100 points for that. We also took a little trip to marvelous-marvelous Victoria's Secret. :) The best part of all ... my new sweater-coat deal. It is so beauty-ful and warm and wool.

Anyhow, once I came home I sat at the piano and sang for about an hour and a half. I was singing and suddenly remembered this guy watching a video of me singing in Bye Bye Birdie. He turned to me and said something along the lines of, "Girl! You have pipes!" I said, "Had. I used to have pipes. They're gone now." Well, today I sang for the first REAL time in a few months. I warmed up fairly well. Not as high as I used to, but not so bad. Then I sang. It was so strange because my voice was rusty ... but not gone. Hooray for that. I miss my voice lessons. Maybe next semester, if I don't get into either of the shows. We'll see. THEN, I watched hockey with my daddy. The Red Wings are stinkin' awesome.

To close this rambly entry, I would like to say how wonderfully cool Katie is. You should all go read her diary (which is listed among my favorites). She gets 100 points today for trying to convince me to get some guts and tell boys that I like them. Hooray for her!
