12 November 2001 - 6:02 p.m. Okay. This is a warning. This little entry is full of whining and girly-angst. I'm putting the whining first. First, I would just like to subtract 100 points from everyone's Total Points today, except for mine and Ellen's. Ellen gets to keep her points because she's marvelous. I get to keep points because I'll cry if I have to take more points away from myself. Carrie gets points for coming back. Also, Deuce gets points for saving me earlier today. All of the rest of you, I'm sure you are tremendously marvelous people, but humanity is just not doin' so well for itself today. I have decided that this is because of the insanely high number of stupid people in and around Boston University. I will discuss some of these people at length. There are some extremely stupid people who get more than 100 points subtracted. They are as follows. Minus 267 points for the girl who took my coffee in Starbucks. I hope someone gives you a sharp kick in the shins. You deserve it. Minus 87000 points for CVS and 534 points for each of the three incompotent photo employees I dealt with today. Okay, so I ranted about the stupid CVS photo people in my last entry. This is an update. I went to CVS at 8:30 this morning. According to the name One Hour Photo Development, my pictures should have been done at 9:30 ... especially since I was the first person dropping off my pictures that day. I returned at 11, the pictures were stuck in some random machine. They would be done at 12, the lady said. I returned at 2:15. They were running through a different machine at that time. I asked her when they would be done. She said "soon." Well, gee thanks a lot. So, I went to orchestra. Whoopdeeyay and funnesses. I went back to CVS at 5:30. Waited for 15 minutes before someone came to the photo counter, proceeded to give me two wrong sets of prints, gave me my prints (six of which are overexposed) and told me they "messed up on some of them." Well, thank you Captain Obvious. I couldn't tell by the glaring orange color which overpowers the fact that there are PEOPLE in the pictures. I told him I didn't want to pay for those prints ... at which point he said "well, you'll have to write a letter to my manager on that. I can not charge you for one hour, but for over-night prints instead, since it took 9 hours." Well, gee. Thanks. $8.99 instead of $9.99. My heart rejoices. Minus a lot lot lot of points for whatever genius scheduled the orchestra concert for this Friday night, which is also Carrie's birthday, and the night Harry Potter comes out. I do not approve at all. Minus 579 points for Janice of the Music Office because she is not pleasant to deal with especially when you've had a bad day. That's all the people I can think of now. Maybe I'll edit this later and add more. I'm in such a bad mood I'm not even going to write about my girly-angst issues. I shall write tonight or something. RARGH!
